What matters is that our annoying NM reporter budging through the annoying rink security at training camp got the hot Huggie take - just for us!
Most of us here at NM are big, long suffering fans of the Canucks - ok, some of us aren't that big, but small soul-crushing suffering year after year, nay, decades of Nucking disappointment still takes a toll.
Here at NM we are fans first - we toil at a different level than those employed in the sports journalism business. Basically we are the unpaid hangers-on of hockey chirping.

But last weekend, NM got a breakaway on the cold ice of fan reality. We got to ask Huggie ONE question.
Back at the NM Editorial Lounge and stinky basement, we thought thoughts about what that ONE question would be. It had to be direct - with only one chance we couldn't screw it up.
After hours of disinterested deliberation we created a list of questions. After seconds of crushing deadline panic, we choose the ONE question. A question so pointed, the answer would be impaled on it forever.
Of course, our volunteer annoying NM reporter ignored the NM editorial directive and asked the actually important question. But was it?

Uh... (chuckles) probably being asked if anyone else in my family is athletic.. (hilarious laughter)

Was it the best question? Maybe not.
