Another Most Important Loss of the Preseason!
Because it's preseason we can't take losing to the fLames too hard. But still...
Could have had a better start.... for reasons...

First goal our Dman deftly tips into our own net
Second goal our Dman uses the middle of his back to drop the puck directly onto Lomberg's stick
Nuck hockey to a tee
However, mid period Lekker puts a shot on net that gets deflected into the sky and lands behind the goalie, in the net!
2-1 Cowpokers after 1.
In the 2nd, the local team in gawdy red get another goal. Unfortunate.

Pete2 panics to the side of the net after Artie passes it nicely to himPete2 had heaps of time to make a play but just throws it lightly up the boards
Calg shot tip goal
Doesn't matter, because our own R2 brings the heat, the almost, but not quite tying goal.
Until the little cowpuckers score again thanks to an effective screen courtesy of EPD. Who will enjoy refining his game in Abbey.
Cowpucks 4-2 after 2.
Also... Cowpucks 4-2 after 3.
As the Nucks aren't playing comeback kids with the kids in the pre. Lotsa PK practice for the Nucks. Who have been perfect on the PK, so far. Best to save PK sievery for the reg. Or... maybe the Nucks PK will be the star of the start of the season, 'cause it ain't the PP.
Yay! One more preseason game out of the way.
Pre-Impressions
Nucks gave up 15 turnovers. Yeesh. But the locals in the barn gave up 30!!! Some amazing pastry chefs on the ice.
Not a total loss for the 'Special Teams' - Nucks PP sucked, however the PK was strong and perfect again. Shout out to Gnarly on the PK. Very disruptive and gnarly. Wonder if he gets 30 seconds of PK driving play and opponents crazy in the real season. Or the one after.
How were the new kids?

Pete2 ain't making this team
He's nowhere near NHL stamina

However Ratty is a lock !!
You heard it first from me
Ratty with a smooth delay snapshot goal
Ratty looks kool as a cucumber out there
Anything else?

Tell ya what Max Sasson is full of energy even though he played last night2nd best Nuck after Ratty
Sammy Blais has been non-existent tonight. I'm disappointed in him
Guess we get to see JT sometime after Thanksgiving or something.

Shortie's back in the game. And should have guaranteed the win. He's rusty too.

Taco Talks Tough about cleaning up - in the corners and in front of the net.
Much better effort with this roster compared to last night. Still not a good result.
Next game, the Nucks have to stay in hAlberta to take on last season's almost Cup champs - or Cup losers as they say out west. Tune in on Monday? Or wait until Friday when the Oil come to toil in the ROG.
