This was a game (thread) to remember. I forget why, but that's not important.
What's important is that the Nucks came back from a Fire Drill 1st period to make a close game of it.
Just not close enough, which is a relief to our semi-tanking stalwarts at NM.
Tyler Chaos was chaosing like old times early on. Game thread was impressed.
On a related note: Myers = “Useless tool” in English.

Do you want to read more about how the Nucks were down 2-0 after the 1st?
Nah... you've seen that over 60 times already this season. Moving on.
In the 2nd stuff got interesting. As in the Nucking infamous PK went to work. Again. It was perfect all game. But that shortie legend was back on the ice. Miller scored again short-handed. Not a breakaway, but on the penalty shot that followed after his breakaway was broken.
And then weirdly enough, the Swollen Nights got another puck past de-bubbled Demmers. Nucks down 2 again.
Didn't matter, since more penalties were given and Miller scored again on the Nucking PP! Not making it up. Good screen from Bess and more points for Pete and Huggie.
Then with all the special team kerfuffles, Huggie seemed to never leave the ice.
Geez what was that, a ten minute shift for Hughes?
Twitchy
Quinn logged just under 30 minutes. And didn't look tired.
But did set another record for a Nucks D.
The Nucks were keen to make this into an exciting game. There was already enough excitement in the game thread.
This could get out of hand before the end of 20:00.

You might think that was about the game, not the thread... but I didn't.
3rd Period starts with the Nucks down 4-2, despite the Nucks late 2nd pressure was the score at the end of period 2. I might have skipped the part where Demmers was beaten again.
Doesn't matter.
What matters is the Nucks were down 2 goals. In the middle of the 3rd - almost as on cue - Nucks get a scrambly goal on a scrambling Quick. The tension in the ROG was building. Or the ROG was in the building. Whatever.
There's several minutes left for the Nucks to not get the tie. Which is key for the special bottom team watchers.
For whatever RikToking reason, Mr. Clutch didn't get any EN time. So, no tie for the Nucks. Kuz wasn't playing any worse than many other Nucks, but was bench-stapled through most of the 3rd.
Good close game. If not for the early Myers chaos performance with tirefire support from Bear and Burrs, Nucks might have won the game. Kudos from the turret-dwellers at NM's Bedard and Faint Hope Lounge.
ROG VIDEO
Back in the ROG, the 2 Johns are calling the game at high altitude.

ROG REPRESSING
Bear probably didn't want to Bear it all with the media - but some one has to talk to them.
Possibly more Interim RikTok talks about dragging and stuff. And Kuz?
That's a wrap on game 70. Only a dozen games left for the Nucks to defend their death-grip on 25th place.
Can they keep pace with the Yotes and those below?
Let's find out.
