After playing half a game against the Canes, the Canucks look to start a new winning streak as the Devils. The Canucks and Devils split their season series last year. Both games were fast-paced and high scoring. J.T. and Petey both had a plethora of points agains the Devils last year, but the defensive play left a lot to be desired.
The two teams come into tonight with some things in common beside having a Hughes on the team. Both teams are scoring 0.4 goals more than their opposition and both teams have lost as many games as they have won. The Devils are leading a very competitive Metro division, while the Canucks are 4 points out of 1st place with 2 games in hand.
Coach Taco was less than happy with line 2 last game and so there has been shuffling for this game....oh, and the starting goalie will be Silovs tonight. Canucks need to remember that Jacob Markstrom is 6'6, but has a massive hole where his glove hand should be. Branny-Juulsen should be a fun pair to watch tonight. Can't be any worse than the third pairing last game.

GAME DAY BATTLE HYMN
Did you know that it has been 30 years since the Canucks lost in game 7 to the Rags? Me neither. Did you know that Weezer's Blue album is also 30 years old? Now that is something to celebrate. Losing two games in a row for the Canucks....let's not celebrate that.
Go Canucks Go!
