Good news... Nucks are a road team!
Not a great 1st period... down 2 goals... or was it all going according to the comeback plan on the 2nd of a B-2-B?
Don't know. Maybe Footey's new system is to start slow and finish fast. Maybe it's just playing so freakin' early.
Doesn't matter.
What matters is what happens in the 2nd period. But still... a little frontier justice by our Sherriffwood was good to see.

Anyhow wonderful things happened in the 2nd. Ok, not 4 goals wonderful, but 2 goals is enough against the little Fawkers.
The 1st Nucks goal was on the PP. Setup from Huggie and Gnarly, Birthday boy, Jake is celebrating in the blue paint with a birthday swipe off the blocker and in.

DeBusk was Deshooting all game. 10 shots on goal in the game. 1/3 of the Nucks total.
B-2-B comeback is just getting started.
Few minutes later, game gets seriously Sassonating.
Sasson gives Dicki a quick back rub on the boards and darts out front as the puck squirts out to Karlsson who passes to Ronnie coming downtown. Kiera Knightly is expecting a Ronnie shot. But Ronnie puts a pass onto a Sassy stick and the game is tied 2-2.

Comeback is nearly complete as the 2nd ends with the tie.
In the 3rd, despite the little Fawkers having Kelly 'the fixer' reffing the game, they kept taking penalties. Nucks ended up with six power plays in the game. And scored on one. Can't do the math right now, but that's not great.
Oh well... ref luck keeps getting worse for the Fawks as they think BurpTwozzi has scored the GWG. Nope. He knocked Lanky's pads in the net and the puck went in after. Obvious at the time. Big woofy challenge from the infuriated Fawking bench... which results in a delay of game penalty for the infuriated.
Anyhow, the Nucks get another PP in the final 2 mins of the 3rd. Our Bedard gets caught holding, nay, clinging to his fav Canuck.
Bedard giving the refs no choice but to call that one. Tsk, tsk!
He secretly still loves the Canucks.

Nucks did everything but score. So much possession, so many shots (3), so many crossbars (2ish) and again Petey made a crazy dekey and was robbed.
