With a minute to go, Petey makes a bad shot choice right to Knight who lofts the puck up ice where Huggie fumbles to keep the puck away from Bedard and his EN goal. His 1st goal against his childhood fav team. Former fav team.

OBSERVATIONS:

I am back on the Myers trashing bandwagon. Unless he starts playing like Zadorov he cannot be playing over 20 minutes a game. No one is afraid to be in front of our net at all. No one is scared to be flying in the neutral zone. A big hit once a game would be inspiring. #Canucks

When the rookie Willander and part-time NHLer Joseph were the best Nucks D and Myers and Huggie are not, it's not a good game. The Chaos Giraffe / Quinn pairing was horrid.

Despite the good play in the first 40, the Nucks were leaving the back door open. And open even wider in the 3rd as Uncle Bert's nephew got his hattie waiting by the backdoor*. 3 goals from the same non-coverage area. *Not really, but don't spoil the rant - he did get his 3rd goal waiting out front for the Nucks to fall down. And they did.

Good thing the Nucks have a (rookie) coach who played D all his NHL career as he might notice that horrible backdoor gap and the flailing around, the falling down and not blocking shots. He likely will mention it to his Nucking defenders. Maybe in January.

Special teams? No thanks, Nucks would rather not. 0 for 2 on PP and 0% on the PK.
