Good News... Nucks didn't lose a player
Bad news... lost the game.
We knew the depleted Nucks can't win them all on the road. Turns out, Demmers is human or his glove is sub-standard and can let in a couple softies.
Nucks started well. Not as well as the more desperate team who had just lost 5 straight.
Late in the period Nucks do the stupid thing against a very motivated team.
Take stupid penalties, give up stupid goals.

1-0 Wild after 1. That's not so bad.
In the 2nd, we finally watch EP40 score. Just kidding. He hasn't even had a shot on net yet. But O'Connor gets his 1st of the season. Yay!
1-1 for 10 minutes. Then the player the Nucks almost traded for scored to make it 2-1 Wild after 2.
In the 3rd, with Nucks unable to score and give Demmers a margin to play with, gave up 2 softies in a row. We want to believe it was a glove malfunction. 4-1 Wild.
And then while the faint hope was fading faintly, the Nucks win a draw in the O-zone clean and O'Connor whips the puck into the net while most, including the broadcast crew, were filling time and shuffling around. 4-2 Wild.
Cue the comeback. Or in this case miscue the comeback.
In the final 3 minutes, with Demmers on bench saying unpleasant things to his glove, EP40 finally took his 1st shot of the game. Of course it was stopped and the rebound goes to a Wild one who dispatches the puck into the empty Nucking net.
There it is. 1 game, 1 shot for EP40. #Canucks quota rules are strict.

The Abby Nucks lose 5-2 in Minni.
Thoughtfully, as is Nucks tradition, broke the Wild's 5 game L-streak.
OBSERVATIONS:
Since game 3 the Nucks PK is running at 61%. Ouch! Many players are broken and so is the PK coverage.
Worse, the Nucks PP had 3 chances to score on the worst PK in the league. And didn't.
Yes, they're missing Huggie. And Petey. And Bess.
While it was great to see O'Connor pot a couple, the top line was all minus - the PP was a waste of ice.
At least Willander is looking good. Such poise and smooth skating under pressure. Joseph wasn't. Myers is getting too much ice time and it's showing. The Faeries need to return at least half of the hostages. Soon.

Arshdeep Bains needs to bring energy, not suck it away by taking consecutive shitty penalties. C’mon man, EARN that roster spot while half the team is injured. #Canucks

I blame Evander Kane #Canucks

Why - WHY - can’t the teams that have been sucking CONTINUE sucking when the #Canucks play them???

On the bright side, at least it wasn't the Nucks blowing a game 7. Ouchies for Jays fans.

COMMENTING OUT LOUD
Räty winning faceoffs and a road presser.
O'Connor getting goals and pressers.
Footey giving up middle ice in a presser.
An expected loss by the Abby Canucks, That's not so bad. It just feels that way.
Onto Tune Town - weren't we just there? Anyhow, rumour is Huggie could be ready to play and score a hattie. Maybe.
