Chytil (who we will worry about later) drives the net. Linnygrinny can't coral the puck, net front chaos ensues - professional, multi-millionaire hockey players drop to the ice in a game of high stakes twister. Despite all the highly-paid bodies flailing about, puck squirts out to Myers - who shoots it over the sprawling millionaires into the net. His 100th NHL goal. Chaos thriving in chaos.
Nucks aren't finished. Can't take a 3-nothing lead into the 1st inter without scoring another.
Sherwood - taking Brock's spot in the lineup - because why not start the game down a forward? Anyhow, Sherwood is on the 1st unit and gets the PP goal to almost seal the game... except...
It's later. Wilson puts a 'clean' late hit on Filip. And he's out of the game.
Wow tom wilson is a piece of shit. Blatant head hunting on Chytil of all people. Major penalty. Dirty ass move. And the fucking refs called it a good hockey play. Was at least a half second late. Someone needs to take out ovi.

Since hockey is traditionally a blood sport, most Nucks fans wanted instant retribution on Thug Wilson. But who could take on Bruteson and send a thick-fisted message? Most wanted Kane to fight Wilson. Win or lose.
This is a major test for the Nucks. Can Kane survive a Wilson fight?

Brock didn't dress. Filip is out and so is Lekky after a painful crunch on the boards.
In the 2nd, Teddy pots a goal after some sloppy Cappy turnyovery play in their own end. Assist from Kane, which doesn't count because he didn't fight Wilson. Also for other more disturbing reasons...

The Caps come back to score a goal, because under-manned reasons. 4-1 Nucks after 2.
Nucks start the 3rd with 10 healthy forwards and give up 2 goals. Leave the 3rd with 9 as Teddy left the game as well. Nucks be calling Call-Up Central stat.
Regardless, Nucks beat the dirty filthy Crappers 4-3 in a gutsy win. Woooo!
Way too much action and carnage for a freakin' Sunday morning game, which according to sportynet's scoreboard never happened.
Hours later, sportynet confirms game didn't happen. But at least we're picking up apparently fake points over tOilers.
OBSERVATIONS:
Impressive win under the worst circumstances. Have won all 3 road games - games set up by the NHL schedulers and their bookies to be guaranteed losses.
Gutsy effort by the #Canucks who beat the Capitals despite finishing the game with just nine forwards (Chyti, Lekkerimäk and Blueger did not finish the game). Vancouver is now 3-0-0 on the road trip.

Fortunately, no playing until Tuesday. Plenty of time to draft, develop and deploy a new 2C, trade for a 3C and get plenty of practice time in.
EP40 played like a 1C. Was a difference maker in the game. Scored 1st in the 1st and blocked sure goals in the 3rd. Definitely earned his 9.5M today.
WE WIN… F U CAPS> EP40 played what.. all but 15 seconds of the last 3 minutes and I think won every faceoff in that time. Nice.
