Let's be honest, if you're rooting against the Oilers, the ending of that game was pretty much perfect. Brad Marchand, in overtime, whiffing on a shot that was then misplayed into the net by Stuart Skinner? I am positive that's a whole damn bingo card in one play.

Sure, we all knew this series was going to be a long one, but it's going to come down to mistakes like that one, and which team is more likely to make them. And if that's the case, the Oilers might be the ones finding themselves in trouble if they don't take both games in Florida.

And to add more intrigue, the Oilers could be without Ryan Nugent-Hopkins tonight, and that would be a huge loss with how he's played in this postseason. Jeff Skinner will step in if he's unable to go.

According to this here nhl dot com lineup thingy, the Oilers have done some shuffling on their D pairs, and Darnell Nurse will play alongside Evan Bouchard. That's either gonna work or be hilariously bad, so it will definitely be worth the watch.

CANUCKS WIN THE WESTERN CONFERENCE

If you caught the game on FloHockey.tv or on Sportsnet 650 last night, wow! What a game! Down 2-0 late in the second, the Canucks started a comeback when Arshdeep Bains scored his second of the playoffs with 1:08 to go in the middle frame. In the final twenty minutes it was an all out assault by Abbotsford, who got the tying goal from Jujhar Khaira less than two minutes into the third, before Max Sasson gave the Canucks the lead with 8:10 to go. Bains would add an empty netter for a 4-2 win, and now the Canucks prepare to head to Charlotte, NC to take on the Checkers. Game One goes on Friday, game time is at 4:00pm PST.
