The Carolina Hurricanes have been waiting for this moment, the chance to prove that this time, something will be different. In their last three Conference Finals appearances, they were swept by the teams that faced them, including a matchup against their opponent this time around, the Florida Panthers.

As for the Panthers, they're trying to become the first back to back Champions since Tampa Bay did it in 2020 and 2021. Should they win this series, it will be their third straight appearance in the Finals, which hasn't been done since 2022, when the Lightning lost in an attempt at a threepeat.
