How about those Canucks?! They get utterly dominated and find a way to get two points.
Thank you Thatcher Demko.
I want to point out the shot totals in that video, so that when you read "utterly dominated" above you don't think I was joking. The Canucks had no business getting two point and moving farther away from Connor Bedard. So you would think tonight might be an easier game in Anaheim, as the Ducks are below the Nucks in the standings and the the Nucks are 5-3-1 in 2nd games of back to back nights.
And then common sense regains control in your head and you remember how many times this team has disappointed you.
While this Ducks team is no longer Getz and Perry, they do have a new douchebag named Zegras and another guy named Terry, who love to score against the Nucks.
The Nucks are going to have to find a way to create way more chances than they had last night. Hopefully they can get an early 8 goal lead and hold on for dear life in the 3rd period when their legs feel like jello.
Some interesting stats to pay attention to over the last 13 games:
J.T. Miller is 5 goals away from 30 and that would give the Nucks four 30-goal scorers.
Petey needs 14 points to get 100.
Quinn needs 6 points to pass his career high of 68.
Brock needs 11 points to beat his career high of 56.

Game Day Battle Hymn
Kent loves this part of the preview the most, since he actually spun records for money at one point of his life. I am almost as old as Kent but don't have the musical background as that curmudgeon. I do have a theory that a Battle Hymn should have one at least one of the these two things....lyrics that get you fired up or a rhythm that makes you move. The Who's Baba O'Reily definitely has one of those. In fact, it would make a good theme song for something.
Go Canucks Go!
