"A second too late." ~ Coach Taco
You got that right coach. The passes, the shots, the checks and getting to a spot....are all looking slow right now. Players are not loose right now and the team has lost 4 out of their last 6 games, all to playoff teams.
The media did a good job of hitting on all the points that need to be mentioned. The only question that Taco seemed to have trouble with, was the one about sending a message physically when Hughes took a hit at the end of the game. I am sure the player in him, wants his players to beat the shit out of Trevor Moore, but the coach in him doesn't want any injuries like Dakota had.
This game tonight is important just to see how the Nucks rebound from a bad loss. The first thing that needs to disappear is penalties. Taco mentions Juulsen is playing to help the PK, but I would prefer that he isn't needed.
J.T. seems pretty calm about the play of the team of late, which is good to see....... I guess? We do have some players that have been in the playoffs, so hopefully he can lead by example in the next couple games to help get this team some confidence.
