Happy Holi to all those that celebrate! And if you don't, maybe you should as it signifies the end of winter and start of spring, plus it also celebrates the triumph of good over evil. And while it might seem that calling LA evil goes to far, they do have evil tendencies....like having a statue of Dustin Brown outside the arena.
Did you know that if the Canucks win tonight and the Blues lose, that the Cnaucks clinch a playoff spot? If you didn't know this, then obviously you don't go on the internet, as I have been bombarded with this info. So I pass it on to you. You're welcome.
As the playoffs inch closer, so does Dakota Joshua, who returned to practice with a non-contact jersey on. Coach Taco said they will take the extra time with him. Trying to get the healthiest team before playoffs is a priority. Taco's message has been consistent all year...play the system and have patience. The homestand has showed this.
"J T MILLER!! J T MILLER!!"
I was almost as surprised as JT was when I heard that chant last game. This is the year that the Canuck fans have finally embraced JT and his no non-sense attitude on the ice. Canucks social media has done a great job since last year to highlight the person so that the player is able to make mistakes and get a break from the fans. I think it's known that for this team to go anywhere in the playoffs, that Miller is going to sparkplug.

Status report
Neither team held a morning skate. ... The Kings are expected to use a lineup with 11 forwards and seven defensemen for the second straight game after their 4-3 overtime win against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday. … Lindholm missed practice Sunday because of maintenance and his availability for the game is unknown. If hehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bMPlPJP2brw can't play, Blueger likely would move into the third-line center spot with Suter going to the fourth line and Di Giuseppe, a forward, playing in Suter's spot on the second line. … Cole will play after being scratched the past two games, replacing Juulsen, a defenseman. … Joshua, who has been out since Feb. 13, skated for the first time in a non-contact jersey Sunday and the forward is close to returning. - NHL.com
