Three in a row....a hat trick of losses. I blame my wife for this. She asked if it was a good thing that the Canucks were 1st place and how many times the President's Cup winner has won a cup. She then said maybe it's a good thing if they lost a few and were 2nd in the league...or 3rd. I think she is a witch.
The narrative that the last loss was a "good" loss, sounds like a pile of crap to me. A loss is a loss. The reason for the losses maybe different and need to be addressed. The penalty kill doesn't know how to kill anymore, except to kill the hope of winning games. Petey doesn't score against good teams. And it seems Joshua was the glue holding this team together.
The Canucks now enter a period of meaningful games as they start facing division teams, starting tonight in Seattle. The season series is split 1-1, with the Canucks coming out ahead in their last meeting 5-1. The Kraken are 3 points out of a playoff spot, but have struggled to find the momentum to get closer, as they are 4-4-2 in their last 10 games. Seattle special teams are middle of the road, which means they almost match the Canucks at this point. The Kraken have something to play for...the Nucks need to find that "something". Maybe it will be the Dads and mentors who will be at the game tonight.
While it seems that the Swedish line is still together, Taco has heard my complaints about Suter and moved him away from Miller and Boeser, instead Bains gets to play with them and maybe can ignite these two.

Game Day Battle Hymn
Lenny Kravitz asks a question that I would like an answer to as well. Are the Canucks going to keep going down this path of losing or are they going to go where I am pointing them to.....winning? When I watch this video, I always picture the old Agrodome.
Go Canucks Go!
