The Canucks look for forgiveness with the fans as they try and beat the Bedard Hawks after crapping the bed in the last game.
Jimmi asked me if I was going to lead the "Fire the Coach" crowd. I thought about it for a second and now will tell you and him, that my answer is no. Coach Taco was smart enough to face the media and do two things....one was apologize to the fans for the teams shitty play. And two, he put the blame exactly where it needs to be....on the players.

I only stayed up for one period of the Islanders game and thank god I didn't waste my beauty sleep on that shit. The new Swedes goal got every one all hot and bothered and before you knew it, the Canucks were trapped in their own end and the Isles tied it before the end of the period. The writing was on the wall by that point. The Isles outhit the Canucks almost 2-1 and they went hard after the puck all night.
I wish Coach Taco made each player come out to the media and apologize for the lack of effort.
So tonight the Nucks get an opportunity to find a win at home against a Hawks team that they dominated 6-3 last time they met in Chicago. The Hawks have below average team that have beaten Colorado, Minnesota, Edmonton and L.A., so the Canucks better be awake tonight.

Status report
Jones, a defenseman, was placed on injured reserve Saturday after blocking a shot in a 3-1 loss at the Seattle Kraken on Wednesday; coach Luke Richardson said it isn't known how long Jones will be out. ... Allan will play in Jones' place after being scratched Wednesday. … Hall will be a healthy scratch; Richardson wants to get the forward some practice time after he missed most of last season with a torn ACL. ... Mikheyev takes Hall’s spot after being scratched the previous two games. … Vancouver changed three of its four forward lines, with Miller’s line the only one left intact; Sherwood and Garland swapped spots, as did Joshua and Heinen. … Juulsen replaces Desharnais, a defenseman who “tweaked something” in a 5-2 loss to the New York Islanders on Thursday, coach Rick Tocchet said. … This will be Silovs' first start since Oct. 30 and second since Oct. 15.

GAME DAY BATTLE HYMN
Hard to know how to pick this song for tonight's game. Loud banging music that gets you tapping the old toe.....A song with an ironic side to it that sends a message to all the Canucks reading this...(haha) or maybe full nuclear meltdown with John Tesh?
Well, instead I decided to get the Led out.
Go Canucks Go!
