The Canucks are 8-2-0 in their last 10 games
The Canucks are 16 points out of a playoff spot.
It's been another typical Canucks season of wild ups and downs. It's been so frustrating that even the eternal optimist John Garrett decided to quit. At least that's the way I will spin it today. The Canucks of the past 3 weeks have been a breath of fresh air after months of halitosis. Scoring lots of goals some games....winning games while only scoring 2 goals...a PK that actually kills penalties instead of being killed. Lord have mercy.
Tonight the Canucks go into Dallas, looking to win the season series and 5 in a row against the Stars. In fact, the Stars haven't beat Vancouver since the start of COVID. Dallas is still atop the Central but for some reason, they can't keep up with the Nucks. I don't get it either.
Rick Tocchet continues to look at all of the Canucks defenseman in these remaining games. So far Brisebois and Wolanin have played their way to new contracts, while OEL has been placed on injured reserve. Petey continues on his path to his 1st 100 point season. And NM waits for its full revival on the net.
