Christmas is almost here and Santa has given the Canucks the gift of playing the San Jose for the final time this season. Of course, this could Santa’s way of giving us a big chunk of coal. The Canucks are 2-1 against the Sharks this year and imagine them playing a game against San Jose like the last time they faced each other.

The Nucks are back home after getting at least one point in every road game. I won’t lie, the Canucks had no reason to still be in that game in Dallas, except for the saving grace that Thatcher Demko is. And yet…to lose that game in O/T was….painful. The Canucks didn’t have the puck for the first three minutes of O/T, but played a great man to man defense. Too bad that Petey and Joshua couldn’t have their shit together to end it.
With 2023 coming to an end, the Canucks have done alright, with a record of 44-29-7, the Nucks may have been in a playoff spot if the season ran by the calendar year. There are some big questions that will need to be addressed in 2024, but we will leave that for another post. Right now the Canucks need to focus on winning the last two games of 2023 and sticking around near the top of the division.
Kuz gets back in the lineup in place of PDG. Why not? PDG really has not lived up to any of the expectations...not scoring....not hitting....not playmaking. Petey needs to get skating again and maybe Kuz can help spark him.
Game Day Battle Hymn
This is the official Canucks Christmas song. Screw you Mariah.
Kent used to have hair like this.
Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope Santa remembers to bring us a win.
Go Canucks Go!
